Art Of Solutions

Lean Thoughts, a weekly e-newsletter, was started to keep the members of the Lean Consortium connected. The purpose of the e-newsletter is to increase the ability to communicate and share best practices with our readers. We attempt to restrict the length of the newsletter to just two pages of valuable content that can be applied and shared within your organization, and one page of scheduled activities for the Lean Consortium Members.

Content for Lean Thoughts is gathered through dialogue with our readers, and a multitude of communication sources in today’s society that are helping individuals, organizations or companies continually striving for excellence.

Greetings,

This week we welcome a new contribution by Merv Edgar.  Merv is a seasoned operations individual that is attempting to enjoy semi-retirement … although he allows frustration to still be in his life since he is a passionate golfer.  Hopefully, you find the article of interest as an operations practitioner talks about Through-Put accounting.

I apologize for sending this week’s edition early …  The Resident Love Goddess and I are heading to Florida for few weeks of R&R … which means that I will be Running & Replenishing while the RLG practices being a flower … beautiful and in constant need of watering.

There is a significant chance we will be unable to publish an edition next week due to limited inter-net availability …

Have a great week and think of us …
